Key Stock and Inventory: Sell Pre-Loaded Keys Through Your Storefront
You have keys. Maybe they're license codes from another platform, serial numbers for your software, download tokens, or account credentials. Now you can paste them into AuthCord, and every purchase automatically delivers the next one to your customer.
Why this exists
Not every seller generates keys on the fly. Some people resell keys from external platforms. Some pre-generate license codes in bulk. Some sell access credentials, download links, or one-time-use codes that need to be delivered exactly once per purchase.
Before today, AuthCord handled the "sell and grant access" part perfectly, but there was no way to attach a specific key to each sale. You had to manually DM keys to buyers, or rig up a webhook to do it yourself. That's done now.
How it works
Enable key stock on your product
In your app dashboard, edit any product and toggle Enable key stock under the "Key Stock & Delivery" section. Optionally set a custom delivery message (like "Here's your license key:") and a low stock warning threshold.
Paste your keys
A stock management panel appears below the toggle. Paste your keys into the textarea, one per line. Click "Add Stock" and they're encrypted and stored. You can add more anytime.

Customers buy, keys deliver automatically
When someone purchases through your storefront (Stripe, PayPal, or crypto), the next available key is claimed atomically and delivered three ways:
- - Discord DM: The key is included in the payment receipt message
- - Email: The key appears in the payment confirmation email in a styled box
- - Storefront account page: Customers can always find their keys under "Your Keys" with a copy button
Monitor your inventory
The dashboard shows real-time stock counts: available, sold, and total. When stock drops below your threshold, you get a notification via your product's Discord webhook so you know to restock.
Under the hood
Encrypted at rest
Every key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it hits the database. The dashboard shows masked previews (first 4 and last 4 characters). Full content is only decrypted when delivered to the customer.
Atomic claiming
Two customers buying at the same time will never get the same key. The claim uses PostgreSQL row-level locking (FOR UPDATE SKIP LOCKED) so concurrent purchases each get a different key with zero race conditions.
Out-of-stock protection
If stock runs out, the storefront checkout blocks the purchase before payment is processed. Customers see 'This product is currently out of stock' instead of paying and getting nothing.
Graceful degradation
If the last key is claimed between checkout creation and payment completion (rare edge case), the customer still gets product access. You get notified about the stock-out so you can follow up manually.
No tier lock
Key stock is available on all plans, including the free tier. There are no limits on how many keys you can upload.
Who this is for
Resellers
You buy keys in bulk from another platform and resell them through your own storefront. Paste the keys, set your price, share the link.
Software developers
You pre-generate license keys in your own system and want to distribute them through AuthCord's checkout flow.
Digital goods sellers
You sell download codes, account credentials, gift cards, or any one-time-use token that needs to be delivered per purchase.
Community sellers
You sell access to private resources with unique invite codes or access tokens that each buyer needs individually.
The full picture
Key stock works alongside everything else in AuthCord. Your customers still get Discord role sync on purchase, your storefront still handles Stripe/PayPal/crypto checkout, your webhooks still fire, and your analytics still track every sale. The key delivery is just one more thing that happens automatically after payment.
Combined with the storefront, forums, and Discord integration, this means you can run a complete reselling business on AuthCord without writing a single line of code. Create an app, connect Discord, upload keys, share your storefront link. That's it.
